Clown Facilitator and
Laughter Leader Based in London
I’m Carol. When asked as a teenager what I wanted to be when I grew up I certainly didn’t have a clue that I would eventually become a Clowning Facilitator. My original training was in English and Theatre Arts at the University of Toronto and the Drama Studio in London. I worked in education and theatre for some years, then qualified to be a Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counsellor and an NLP Master Practitioner. I took these skills into business in the public and private sectors as a Communication Skills Trainer.
All this led to my involvement in the positive psychology movement as a Laughter Leader and then onto becoming a Clowning Facilitator. It feels like a combination and culmination of all my work in education, theatre and psychology. I have never felt happier or as privileged in what I do than now. My work is full of much joy!

"A total joy! I love the freedom to play and explore that you create in your workshops. For me, your clowning workshops are the most fun I've had in any workshop. I could do this all day everyday!” (Chris/ actor)
“I really enjoyed the very relaxed and open feeling of the group, which allowed room for speaking about anything such as expressing any fears. This meant that very quickly I felt comfortable to do anything, which I think is important when discovering the clown within.” (Lucy/play leader)
“It was one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had on a training!” (Sue/coach)
"I loved the opportunity to take risks and to move outside of my 'comfort zone', in a safe, warm, non-judgemental environment. It was wonderful to be playful and laugh lots. Very powerful experience to begin to trust in my spontaneity.” (Tom/therapist)
"I would definitely recommend this to my friends. It was one of the best things I have done for ages." (John/gardener)
“I return time after time, because not only are the events fun, but they offer an opportunity to experience a range of emotions which makes me feel so alive. What an opportunity for personal growth.” (Huw/ support worker)
